Here is an incredible piece of vintage ephemera for the serious collector of Paul Revere Pottery / Saturday Evening Girls (S.E.G.) Pottery. This brochure was made, from the best I can estimate, in or around 1908 advertising Paul Revere Pottery Made at the Saturday Evening Girls' Bowl Shop at 18 Hull Street, Boston, Massachusetts. This was the first location where this pottery was made, prior to moving to Brighton, Mass. in 1915. This 4 page brochure provides informati...on about how the pottery "plans to give girls whose parents are not well off, an opportunity to earn the small sum necessary for their school expenses." It also gives information on the types of wares for sale. It is fully illustrated with incredible color illustrations signed by Edith Brown, who was the potteries artistic director and illustrator.
This measures almost 3 and 3/4" wide by 5 and 1/2" long. These little brochures were probably never intended to last about 112 years!! A rare find and a wonderful addition to a Paul Revere pottery / Saturday Evening Girls pottery collection! Please review all photo's, as they are part of the description.
