Item: Vintage PENDLETON BlanketDescription: For Sale is a Vintage 1950-60s Western/Native American Style Woolen Blanket by "Pendleton Woolen Mills - Beaver State". This is a big one measuring 60" x 72" (5 Foot x 6 Foot). I am NOT 100% Positive on the time period but there is no way it is Post 1970's. As you can see, this blanket basically has a double-sided design with one side being mainly gray and the other white. The "Beaver State" Pendleton... Tag though is on the Gray Side. I got this from the Original Owner's widow and he bought it in Colorado decades ago while doing photography out there. I am sure my photos will best further describe this item. Condition: On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidentlygrade this item's condition to be a solid 7.5 at least. Overall and Especially for being 40+ Years Old, this Collectible High Quality Blanket is in Good - Very Good Condition. First, it is surely NO LESS than 90% Immaculate. There are Absolutely ZERO Musty Odors/Stains or anything like that. Truly there are only two reasons I cannot grade this higher. First, On the Gray side (using photo#1 as reference) on center top third of blanket there are some sporadic sections where it is worn (thread bare moth hole looking) revealing the white color of the other side. Some are size of a dime and some the size of a dollar bill almost but not solid. In the center third and lower third there are a few VERY SMALL similar spots that barely noticeable which are dime-penny size. Those spots are very thin and/or tiny. There are ZERO HOLES that go all the way through anywhere on the blanket. Photo#3 shows a close up of the largest thread bare section on top third of blanket. Fortunately, at first glance one would think it is just part of the design!! When the blanket is turned over to the "White" side there is ZERO Evidence of those areas. For example, the section shown in photo#9 is the exact opposite side of the section shown in photo#3 and you'll notice there is no evidence at all of that thread bare section. The 2nd reason I can't grade higher is because there are several areas where the border edge is worn. Surely a VERY easy seamstress fix though (See Photo#8). That issue is seen more on the white side than the gray. My photos are anaccurate depiction of this item's TRUECondition. I try very hard to give as much details as I can so please don't hold it against me if I overlooked something small. There are many sellers who say nothing more than "In Used Condition" and that is pathetic. Many people do not like to read the long paragraphs so common in my listings and then they are shocked when item arrives because they didn't read what I wrote because it was too long.
