This listing is for a beautiful original antique A.P.W. Paper Company Cast Brass Strongman Toilet Paper Holder. It is in excellent original, unmodified condition with no issues. This Toilet Paper holder was made in 1884. It comes complete with the Cast Brass Strongman main piece, the metal rod that connects the wooden dowel that the toilet paper spins on. The main cast brass piece screws to your wall or bathroom cabinet and to change rolls, you simply pull on on...e end of the metal rod, gently slide the dowel out and replace the Toilet Paper. This is an incredibly awesome bathroom accessory. A complete one in this great condition with such a wonderful patina is rare and hard to find. The wooden dowel was hand whittled and the writing on the back was hand etched.
This Toilet Paper fits regular and jumbo rolls of toilet paper. It has been fully cleaned and sanitized first with chemical free soap then with rubbing alcohol.
