This fabulous sewing machine by "Muller" is their "No. 12" model and it comes with its' original box and packing and instructions.It is in good, original "as found" condition.Friedrich Wilhelm Muller Junior, the renowned toy maker of Berlin formed his company in 1868 and it was to become the largest and longest-lived of all sewing-machine-toy manufacturers.The machine has retained virtually all of its' superb original gilt decoration and this a good depth of colour. The black japannin...g has only minor marks and scuffs and has a good gloss.There are no cracks or splits to the cast metal body or balance wheel that I can find and the casting is still crisp and clean.The exposed metalwork does have some minor losses and rust blemishes.The plate has "No. 86669" impressed in to it.The machine turns well with a good movement and the wooden handle has no cracks or chips.The machine opens and hinges well. There are a few accessories and screwdriver inside.It measures approx 29 cm (11 1/2 inches) long by 17 cm (6 3/4 inches) at its widest. The machine has its' instructions, unfortunately, this is now in two parts.It comes with, what maybe its' original card box with packing materials.
