Next up is this antique engraving/etching portrait of President George Washington with Signature. After inspection, the portrait itself is in original condition. It doesnt appear that the paper has not been ripped or torn in any areas although it seems to be very fragile & brittle. The paper has yellowed over-time and there is a few light/slight stains although not distracting. The frame is blackend & does not appear to be the original frame looks more vintage than antique styl...e frame. After looking at the signature under a jewelers loupe we do not see and pixelization & appears to be solid throughout although we can not confirm this as we are not experts on antique signatures. The exact date & place of origin is also unknown, the only information pertaining to this is the the statement along its bottom that reads "Taken From Life In 1794" The reverse of the image is blank & there is a vintage red cloth-like material that backs the image itself. Overall its in great shape and has a very antique look throughout. Makes a great gift for the collector in your life!
