For a number of years, Dr. Kohn was an assistant curator for the Thomas Connelly Flag Collection and ultimately prepared the Sotheby’s catalog of its sale in 2002. Dr. K...ohn personally removed the Boleslaw Mastai Flag Collection from his estate in Long Island as well as prepared the Sotheby’s catalog for its sale in 2002.

uppermost arm of each star. The stars like this flag has are called akimbo,
i.e. having scattered axis of the stars' vertical arm. Circa 1907
