This is one of the IBM model M series of keyboards (P/N 42H1292) that has buckling springs under its keys that generate a tactile and clicking sound feedback as you type on it.
Model M keyboards have been praised by computer enthusiasts and frequent typists due to their durability and consistency, and the tactile and auditory feedback they provide.
