Vintage Weather Vane 20 Inch Directional Set Cast Metal Green Verdigris Patina

This is a vintage cast metal directional weather vane. The arrow is either stationary or it needs to be oiled- it doesn't move. The N, S, E, W do move but need to be oiled to move more freely, there is some light surface rust present where it turns. It has a verdigris green patina. The arrow flight is mostly broken off (see photo) but the end is notched so a replacement piece can be inserted and soldered or otherwise secured. The base has some surface rust (most...ly on the underside) and some kind of black residue on the ends (paint? Tar? Adhesive? Waterproofing?) from it's previous installation that I did not attempt to remove. It can be mounted to a variety of surfaces, there are screw holes to allow for this. It stands 20 inches tall from base to finial and is 19 inches wide from the arrow tip to the end (it doesn't have an end flight or it would be longer).
