Original Description:
For your consideration is this authentic antique 1880's 3 piece heavy cast iron toy train. The raised lettering on the locomotive notes a patent date of June 19, 1888. All 3 pieces, locomotive, coal car and passenger car, have traces of the original black and reddish/orange paint. All metal wheels move freely. There are no hooks to tie the train together. The locomotive measures 7 1/2" in length and 3 1/2" in height, the coal car measures 4" in length and 2" in height... and the passenger car measures 6 1/2" in length and 3 1/4" in height. Makes an awesome display.
