A large 18thC Chinese porcelain tureen, cover and stand in the tobacco leaf pattern. Qianlong. As you can see from the photos the main body of the tureen is in excellent condition with just a small chip to the rim. The cover and stand have old rivet repairs. For similar examples see previous sales by Christie’s & Sotheby’s
This is quite a large and heavy piece ( weighing almost 2.8kg before packing), I’m happy to look at any suggestions for chea...per postage and can adjust the sale invoice.
Dimensions approx-Just over 11”/28cm x 7.5”/19cm (incl handles)
Condition-Tureen - very small chip to the rim, otherwise in excellent condition. Cover- old riveted repairs, a large chip & a small chip. The knop has chips to the floral bud and a piece of stem missing. Stand- old riveted repairs & a chip to the rim. All- General wear to the gilding.
