Joanies is very excited to present a great Three Session No Reserve Estate Auction! This sale includes a wide variety of fine antique and collectables spanning over several different categories. Day one of this estate auction also includes an important collection of Ming and Song ceramics from th...e professor Peter Greiner collection, and also from the scholarly collection of the late Mr. Pao of Toronto. We have offered items from the Pao collection before that brought some great interest. Mr. Pao was well respected as a very knowledgeable scholarly collector. Mr. Pao also headed a high end Asian arts gallery within the Four Seasons hotel in Toronto for many years that closed down around 20 years ago now. A great opportunity to acquire several rarely found and unique examples.

Up for auction is a 3 VERY RARE CHINESE STRAW GLAZED IMPERIAL ATTENDANT FIGURES SUI TANG DYNASTY. Part of an important Pao estate collection being offered this week that includes several Song and Ming dynasty period examples.
One of two similar lots being offered in this week estate sale. A rare ground of three attendant figures of the Sui to Tang dynasty period. The figures with beautiful and vibrant yellow Straw glaze. Legitimate period examples such as this are very hard to find outside a major auction house, mostly being offered Without Reserve!
Condition: Estate-fresh necks of smaller pair with old restoration other imperfections consistent with very early age overall substantially intact as seen.
Size: The figures measure from 11 1/4 to 10 1/4 inches tall.
