Up for auction is a large pair of Chinese vases.
The exterior are decorated with relief-moulded a hundred antiques motifs such as the 'rush and ingot' or the 'scroll for culture'. The decoration is accomplished with auspicious plants, such as plum, lotus and peaches. Dating late 19th Century, Qing Dynasty.
Condition (Please see both eBay & additional gallery for the full description) Vase 1... in very good overall condition, only with two small chips to the applied decoration of leaves, one to a green and one to a red flower.Vase 2 in very good overall condition, with a very small chip to the applied decoration of leaves, namely to a green flower. a tight hairline in the base (visible inside of vase), slightly extending upwards (see pic 11&12) both vases top and base rims are slightly polished.
