Joanies is very excited to be offering a large four-day important family estate collection. This prominent family of Doctors resided in China between 1890-1960 and during this time acquired a vast array of rare and important objects that have never been offered until now. This includes a vast array of A...sian art examples, fine jades, snuff bottles, bronzes, porcelain, important Archaic works, and more.
A number of the items being offered were scheduled to be sent to New Yorks’s high end auctions, but due to large sale delays this year the estate had asked us to offer All the items. A great and rare opportunity to acquire some investment-grade examples.
Over the past 20 years Joanies has hosted Hundreds of estate auctions, auctioning upwards of a hundred thousand fine estate items during this time. Up for auction is a ANTIQUE CHINESE TIBETAN PRANGE CORAL & TURQUOISE JEWELLED SILVER BANGLE BRACELET. A fine antique handmade example that we believe would date to the c1900 period. With interesting orange coral and turquoise jewelled design. Unmarked and tests at least .800 solid silver.
Condition: The bracelet could use a light cleaning if desired and is otherwise in fine condition as seen.
Size: The bracelet measures 3 inches wide by 1 inch thick weighing 46 grams. The bracelet has an inside circumference of 6 3/4 inches round.
