This is a very fine quality and good sized 18th century Chinese bronze censer or incense burner, in very good condition.There are some interesting features: the legs of the censer are in the shape of children, and the handles are shaped as dragons, with a larger dragon on the cover. Around the body there are birds flowers and trees. One reason I believe this to be 18th century is the colour of the bronze. It is quite red which means it has a high copper content, the older the bronze, ...the more coppperand the redder the colour of the bronze.
