Superb Antique ChineseChrysanthemum Longquan Celadon Crackle Glazed Ceramic Bowl 龙泉青瓷.Circa 1900s.The very beautiful plateis made in the shape of a chrysanthemum. Deep olive-green glaze covers theentire bowl. Small crackles under the glaze.Three kiln spurs on thebase from firing in the kiln.The bowl has perfect andstunning Longquan glaze. There isn’t a flaw that I can find.The bowl is not veryold. Made possibly in the early 1900s.Longquan drip glazeoriginated from the Song Dy...nasty (960-1279). It was one of the most influentialglazes that led the way of ceramic making in Asia. Thai celadon glaze is one ofthe fine examples.Measurement across themouth: 13 cmHeight: 4 cmWeight: 245 gramsThe battery is there forsize comparison.
