***MORE PICTURES are below Item Description or click Read More***VINTAGE DYNACO PAS PREAMPI bought this from the estate of a former audiophile. Please consider that I am not familiar with electronics enough to really know what I’m talking about here and any information or corrections to my description that you might have, would be greatly appreciated! I believe this would be a PAS3 but could be PAS2. Part of the case (front and back) appears to be an ori...ginal Dynaco chassis (you can see where the sticker label was on the back) but there is a homemade top and or bottom metal plate and sides that look like they were fabricated. The switched/unswitched outlets have been removed (or never installed) and I think the fuse holder was added. I guess this could have been a kit or some hybrid homebrew. The knobs don't appear to be Dynaco; the switches may be but not sure. The boards are stamped Dynaco and the guts could be original (look very old to me). There are two wires that were not connected when I took the covers off-shown below). I left them as found while I tested it. Everything seems to work except the treble, bass, balance and Mono knobs don't appear to do anything (something to do with those 2 disconnected wires maybe?) Selector, Volume and the other switches are working fine. There is a slight low hum when no music is playing. Selling as is for refurbishing, repair or parts. Thanks!
