Vintage Elkington Silverplate Knight In Shining Armor Fleur De Lis Lidded Box

Excellent silverplate quality on this knight in shining armor depicting full dressing as you can see from the pictures taken from every angle. He holds his shield decorated with embossed fleur de lis. His sword is in his other hand. The knight figure stands at over 3.25" tall in full regalia including helmet and chain mail ready for battle.Two cornflower swags also decorate the top with center flower on each side. All these details seems in keeping with a vintag...e antique probably circa 1900. The small T mark below the Elkington Plate mark shown in picture 6 was used in 1905 and in 1930 from my research. Overall height almost 6.75" with top on base.Lid is 4.75" wide at its base.Round bowl is 4.5" diameter and a bit over 1.75" tall.The top fits inside bowl loosely.Please see pictures for condition of this gently used box. The bottom of bowl shows wear from moving about on a tabletop or dresser over many years. This knight still shines.
