Original Description:
This is a Kutani eggshell porcelain cup and saucer from the Meiji period (1868-1912).  Intricate detail depicting cranes inside cup and ducks on the outside.  There are also multiple little cartouches with smaller pictures including other birds, geishas, and immortals.  There is a 4 character signature.Excellent condition--no cracks or chips.  Enamel shows no signs of wear.The cup is about 3-3/4 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall.  The saucer is about 5-3/4 i...nches in diameter.(cup and saucer only--stand not included)
