Sheboygan Novelty Company:
C.B. (Charles Bernard) Freyberg and his brothers established the CBFreyberg Bros. Lumber Company in Sheboygan and operated a l...umber camp and sawmill at Washington Island, Door County, Wisconsin. The Freyberg brothers opened the Sheboygan Novelty Company manufacturing ladies secretaries, small tables and other furniture items. The Sheboygan Novelty Co. went out of business during the early Great Depression. Most of their ladies desks were made from 1905-1925.
Although it is not mentioned what year the Freyberg brothers started their businesses, it does say their parents Louis Ludwig Freiberg and Caroline Weinschlager Freiberg (Freyberg) immigrated to the US from Prussia in 1852 with their five children.
