THREE ANTIQUE CHINESE CANTON
BLUE & WHITE EXPORT PORCELAIN PLATES
You are being offered Three Antique Chinese Canton Ware Blue and White Export Porcelain Plates with Rims that have Unsymmetrical Ridges and Indentations and they are decorated with Blue Cobalt Oxide Pigment under their Glaze in the “Blue Willow” pattern, which features a Hand Painted Coastal Village Scene with Pagodas, Tea Houses, Arched Bridges, Willow Trees, Meandering Streams with Small Boats and... an Absence of People. Being Export Porcelain, the Plates don’t have any identifying marks; but we believe they were made in Jingdezhen and decorated in Canton during the 18th or Early 19th Century, circa 1700-1839. The Larger Plate measures a little over 7½ inches in diameter and the Two Smaller Plates measure 6¼ inches in diameter. In addition to wear consistent with their age, the Plates have rim frits and one of the Smaller Plates has a short hairline that extends from its Outer Rim to its Foot Rim; otherwise, the Plates are in Very Good Condition, without any other chips or cracks. All Domestic Packages are shipped By USPS Priority Mail, USPS Parcel Select or Fedex Ground and when applicable, USPS First Class Mail or USPS Media Mail. Our choice of Shipping Service and the Method of Shipping we select, will be based on the Buyer's Preference and the Costs involved. Stated Terms and Shipping Charges Apply Only To Addresses Within The Continental United States. Shipments to addresses outside the Continental United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, will incur higher shipping charges that will vary according to the shipment's destination. International Shipments valued at $250.00 or more will be shipped by USPS Express Mail International because it is the only form of Mail that can be tracked after the Shipment passes through the destination country’s Customs. All other International Shipments valued less than $250.00 will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail International, except in certain instances when Inexpensive Items shipped in Small, Light-Weight Packages qualify for lower USPS First Class International shipping rates. In such cases, the Buyer will be notified by email and given the choice of how they want their package shipped. However, we will Not Ship packages by USPS First Class Mail International to certain countries because packages cannot be tracked after leaving the United States and too many packages have been lost.
