First off I got this with a few other Mongoose bikes from a guy off craigslist a few years ago. The Serial Number has been defaced. He told me it was his bike in the 80's it was stolen and he recovered it? If this bothers you do not bid on it. Its hard to make out but it appears to start M4-? That is why I am listing it as an 84.It has lots of surface rust if you are looking to put together a patina rider this maybe just the parts you need. The forks appear to be original the neck... and sprocket the same style decal on it but I can not make out what it says, possibly Wald? The seat is a Viscount Aero but is pretty rough. Cranks rotates but is very rusty on the surface area. Box bars have a lot of surface rust as well.
