Here is an awesome antique quilt block made of two calico fabrics--gorgeous claret and wonderful indigo blue. The skilled maker did a great job of putting it together...the machine stitched squares are very uniform and neatly lined up plus it is very nicely hand quilted with a puffy look. The backing is muslin with batting just the right thickness to make this block easy to work with. This quilt block is 9" square--that is for the claret and indigo only...the surrounding ...is not included. This will be so uncommonly great made into a pillow, a candle mat--well, I am sure you already know how you are going to use it.
This quilt block is in great condition with great slightly worn look especially to the indigo--also nice and soft...feels as good as it looks. There are no holes or stains. The backing is white/off white without the bluish cast that the picture indicates.
There is also no unpleasant fragrance. I do not smoke and regretfully have no pets...but if I did, they would not smoke either.
