I know nothing about this - purchased from a wealthy estate. It appears 1 string is missing. wood work and color incredible .

One ebay buyer sent me this "this is a "bowl back" mandolin. Looks like 1930's or 1940's Italian with what appears to be Brazilian rosewood bowl!"
