This is a great group of 85 scarce political buttons from local Chicago, Illinois politics. Featured are large buttons for the campaign for "Retain William Stratton" 1957. There are a couple Ogilvie orange and black buttons (one O with state of Illinois). Others with political slogans that I am unsure what they mean
Some neat tin litho "Christian for Sheriff" pins, collar tabs for various candidates, a Kerr log cabin pin and more. Some feature more loca...l offices in Chicago such as auditor, etc... Many small pinbacks for Joseph Meek who was launching a bid for US senate in 1954.
