For your consideration I am pleased to offer this rare ashtray made by the Consolidated Glass Company of Coraopolis, PA. This ashtray is from Consolidated's highly sought Ruba Rombic line, and is the premier in their many forms of Art-Deco Era glassware. This example is in the Jade Green color, and measures approximately 4" across at the top rim, and stands approximately 2" tall. Unfortunately, this piece is not without problems. First, there is a seemingly stable crack in the bottom o...f the ashtray (please see photos #4 & #5 for example), and the Jade Green finish is heavily worn (please see my last photo for example of the worst area, which is located on the under side of one of the cigarette rests). On the good side, surprisingly enough, there are no major chips present, just a few scattered light flakes. Given the condition of this piece, due to its rarity, I still feel it is worthy of saving, and deserving of a good home!
