NASA SPACE SHUTTLE MISSION PROFILE PRESS KIT FOR STS-40 FLOWN IN JUNE OF 1991.  ORIGINAL PRESS KIT GIVEN TO THE PRESS AND VIP'S BEFORE THE LAUNCH OF STS-40.  45 PAGE BOOKLET DETAILS THE PLANS FOR THE SHUTTLE'S EXPERIMENTS AND ACTIVITIES WHILE IN ORBIT.  PUBLICATION IS IN GOOD CONDITION ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING ITS AGE.  NO MARKINGS, NO TEARS, SOME WEAR AND LIGHT DOGEARING ON THE COVER PAGES AS WOULD BE EXPECTED TO BE FOR SOMETHING OF THIS AGE AND CONSTRUCTION, IN CARE...FUL SMOKE-FREE STORAGE FOR ALMOST 30 YEARS.  RARE ITEM.
