Front and back outer covers are beautifully engraved that makes spirals in the light, with the letter "A" on the face cover. It does not tell the gold content, but it has 17 jewels. PAUL R. GANTZ, the jeweler, has his name inside on the face of the watch itself, between 11 o'clock and 1 o'c...lock. He was a U.S. Army Flyer during World War I. After the War was over, he opened his Jewelry and Watch Company in 1929 in Silver City, New Mexico. He contracted the famous Swiss Watchmaker, Eisenstadt to make his quality watches. This antique watch still works perfectly after all these years and shows hardly no wear.
