Vintage 1940's Turn-A-Bout Double Sided Ceramic/Pottery Mickey & Minnie Mouse Cookie JarAdorable vintage Disney Piece. There are no chips or cracks on it. There are however some spots that I would say where the glaze is worn/scratched. You can see the greyish color under the cream glaze. (see photos 8 & 9). There is also some excess hardened pottery at a few places (see photo 10). and some spots that show tight small crazing (see photo 11). The black, red and blue painting is s...howing wear, missing and scratches at some spots (see noses and ears). It looks to be marked on the bottom but I cannot make it all out. I can make out Turn About however that is all (see photo 12)Measures 13 1/2" tall. Weighs 5 pounds 9 ounces (prior to packaging)We buy most of our pieces at auctions, flea markets & yard sales so we may not know the history of the item.
