The metallic blue case is ready for a complete restoration by it's new owner as it was most carefully painted by whomever was re-painting the wall it was mounted to at the time (Thank you pro-painters) and has some additional boogering-up as well on all... sides but the porcelain front cover is about 90% with a small amount of chipping damage on both the upper left hand corner as well as about the same amount of chipping damage to the right side upper corner and a micro-chip at the lower right side where the cover closes over the blue metallic base. (see close-up photos).
Left side coin slot set up for .25 cents and the right side is set up for .10 cents. The .10 cent slot has the most wear on the face of it. The .25 cent coin guide (what I'm calling it) is also a bit larger than it's counter part and a ".25 cent sticker" has been applied to the porcelain just below the guide so I'm guessing this was a factory up-grade performed when prices started going up, otherwise I must assume that both original slots were probably designed to accept dimes at one time.
There is also a red (print your own stickers via one of those label guns) label with the number: 2148 just below the right side pull handle. I didn't want to attempt to remove it.
Both glass windows showing the prices and the old .9 cent stamp in the right side window, are 100% intact and looking very clear-!
Pull handles looking like they could use a little restoration too but the machine still works, good luck finding any of those cardboard folders for the stamps however, as I'm guessing they quit making them some time ago although I might be totally wrong-!
I have a same era gumball machine listed as well if your interested in that type of machine.
