This is a vintage set Hard cover 1965 all 2nd edition of "Lord of the Rings" 3 boxed set with dust jackets in original slip case. 11 printing on two, 12th on one, but it is the original matched set that came in slip box. All are in excellent condition. Slip case looks excellent, no worn edges or marks on any corners, front or back Books appear to be never open, no cracking on spines, no fold or tears or any other markings. Maps in back in tact and loo...k almost never opened. There is some slight staining on the bottom inside covers only of 2 and a bit on one in the inside cover back, but no pages in book affected. Pages edges on all 3 sides, in excellent condition. The only thing looking worn are the dust jackets around the edges top and bottom. no other markings inside of any pages
