This Vintage Sony TC-W530 Dual Cassette Deck is in amazing condition and works flawlessly. You will not find a nicer used unit. It has one ding and some light scratches (pictured) from being stacked in the cabinet with other components. This was purchased from the original owner along with the matching components who bought it new. It matches with the TA-AX530 Integrated Stereo Amplifier Receiver, and ST-JX430 Tuner which are listed separately. The Graphic Equalizer from the set has be...en sold. The Sony TC-W530 is a auto-reverse stereo double cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction.
The main features of the Sony TC-W530 are: 2 heads, analog 3 digit tape counter, manual tape type selection with support for normal, chrome and metal tapes, belt driven auto reverse transport.Typical front loading double cassette deck with the cassette compartiment located on both sides of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.Level meters used on the TC-W530 are digital peak reading meters. Full-logic transport controls used on the TC-W530 let it respond to the slightest finger contact for fast and effortless transport function selection.The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the TC-W530 by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies.For undisturbed listening a jack connector for a pair of stereo headphones is supplied. Connection to other audio components for plaback can be achieved by a RCA cable and recording from a source by a RCA cable.
