Original Description:
This porcelain ashtray is from the Rex Hotel in Saigon.  The hotel was made famous during the Vietnam War when it was hosting the American military command's daily conference.  After the Vietnam War in 1975 the state's Saigon Tourism Bureau took ownership of the hotel and renamed it Ben Thanh ("The City Port").  The ashtray measures approximately 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches high.  It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.  Wh...ite spots in photos are light reflections.  We ship worldwide and will gladly combine items to save on shipping costs.
