we are happy to accept payment by cheque or bank transfera nice example of an early liberty & co tudric art nouveau pewter preserve spoon, in fact one of the earlier recorded tudric pieces which was designed by archibald knox and original produced in silver as part of the cymric range, it was produced in the art nouveau jugendstil secessionist era of around 1902 at the same time as the german firms of wmf, kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of a...rt nouveau pewter, made by William haselers of Birmingham for the liberty & co tudric pewter ware range, as with other pewter spoons and butter spreaders it does not have a design number as they were designed to be used with various different pots, but it is easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox and others, the pewter is in a gently polished condition with absolutely no loss to the wonderful knox honesty & entrelac designs to the handle & bowl but there is some pitting in the bowl (see image 2), but the overall condition is still excellent so an impressive display piece measuring 4.5" long, if you require any further information, please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.
