This is a vintage and original 1940's Ruppert Beer - Ale Foam Scraper Holder, New York, NY. Fashioned in the Form of a Large Barrel in Solid Catalin that has Aged to a Nice Swirled Butterscotch Color with Some Brown Marbling throughout with Two Chrome Rings or Barrel Straps for Detail. A Metal Enameled Medallion Reads "RUPPERT BEER - ALE". Original Maroon Holder/Cup Included with Logo's on Two Sides.
Measures 6-1/2" tall by 4-5/8" wide. Cup is 3-1/2" diame...ter.
Very nice condition with no chips to the Catalin. Some typical light crazing throughout the Catalin/Bakelite base that remains solid and blends in well with the brown marbling. Has all four original rubber feet and sturdy maroon cup printed in clear detail. Slight wear to the enamel name tag and slight tarnish to the chrome bands.
