Original Description:
Up for bid is a vintage original 1940's finger jointed Hyde Park Lager Beer crate with lid. It's dated 1942 and measures 16-1/2" by 12-1/2" by 11" tall. All the graphics can be read and there are original shipping stickers, "Case Stamps", Tax Stamps etc. still in place. Lid or top is warped and is held on with the original woven hinge straps. Box was made by Columbia Box Factory St. Louis and would make a great display piece. There are a couple of splits i...n the front and rear panels but box is solid. Buyer will pay the actual shipping cost via USPS Parcel Select mail from zip 95383 with a 7 lb. shipping weight.
