Vintage brass scale mounted on varnished wood base. Scale is marked "MADE IN ENGLAND" and "WARRANTED ACCURATE" and comes with three solid brass weights in base (2 oz, 1 oz, 1/2 oz). Scale comes with a cased set of smaller weights made by Daube & Hopken and distributed by James Dixon of New York. The smaller weights range from 30 grams down to 1 grain. Scale would be ideal for weighing herbs, perhaps jewelry and/or precious metals, etc. Plus, it looks fabulous sitting on the desk to...p!
This scale is in Very Good Condition. The scale is working well. There is overall patina on the brass pieces in the separate weight set.
