New ? in original box are these Tip-Top Professional type Curlers made in Omaha, Nebraska. There are 12 of these and they were in the box, so you get 12 curlers and the box. Box says they are 3 1/2 inches. From other listings they are possibly from the 20's or 30's, way before my time! Please see the photos of the actual items you will receive, 12 curlers and the box and zoom in to see closer. Each curler has imprinted into the metal Tip-Top Products Co., Omaha,... Nebraska USA. With these being close to 90 years old, how do you know if they are new or used? I would assume new as if they were used you would think the box would have been thrown away and they don't look used in my opinion. I did not do anything with them. When I took a photo of the top of the group of curlers where you pinch it open, when I zoomed in it makes me think they are used, but I don't know that could be a different kind of metal and it shows a tiny bit of rust. I think the actual curler could be aluminum.? I do know they are in my opinion excellent condition for their age. I did take a couple of photos of one curler open. If you need further photos of something I missed ask and I will see what I can do. Not an expert, just trying to go through boxes and downsize some things. I usually ship out within one business day after receiving your prompt payment and I will pack these well for shipment as I assume the box is just as valuable as the curlers or more. Also if it matters to you we have a smoke free home, however we are pet friendly.
