World War II 1945 Willy's Jeep. This jeep is a nut and bolt restoration, the 25th by a restoration professional. He completed the restoration about 10 years ago. I bought the jeep to go on an Army reenactment Bankhead Highway convoy, but a project came up so I was unable to go. It has always been stored in a covered garage, driven a total of 1035 milrs as of today. It drives as new. It was converted to a 12 volt system for the lights and starting, however the engine is still 6 volt. Th...e head lights are halogen for safty, but appear as original. All canvas is as new. This jeep is ready for the Lincoln Highway 100th anniversary Army Convoy coming up later this year. I have aged out, sorry to say. This jeep needs nothing. I have the build history, depot maintenance book and service manual, lub chart in the hood holder, along with the usual original tire pump, jack, crank, oil can and mount (not mounted), grease gun, tool bag and a lot of the original tools used on this type jeep. I hate to see this guy go, but it's time to admit my body can't hold up to 30 days of fun on the nexy convoy. It your time! Feel free to contact me with questions.
