Good Day! Up for sale today we have a pretty cool old Dungeons & Dragons Basic Rules Set 1 #1011 set from TSR Hobbies. This is a First Printing Edition set from 1983. We have the box, the Player's Manual, the Dungeon Master's Rule Book, a marker crayon, and 4 dice (there should be 6). The box and both books are copyrighted for 1983, and both books say First Printing inside. The marker crayon looks similar to the one in the photo, but it is a different color (grey with white crayon ...(?)). I am not sure, therefore, if it is original to the set or if it was added later. I am unfamiliar with the play of the game, but I was kind of wondering what you might use a white crayon for. Also, there are 4 different dice as pictured on the back (though there should be 6), but three of them are green and one is red, though the back of the box shows 6 red dice. Again, I'm not sure if these, then, are original to the set or not. They do look like they fit the era though. The two dice that are missing appear to be the standard cube 1-6 die and the 20 sided die, but I'm not 100% sure. The dice do have some paint wear to the numbers from age/play. The crayon looks like it was used a couple times. The booklets are in pretty nice shape. The insides appear to be nice and clean. The covers will have a little bit of rubbing and some discolored spots here and there. There may be a small discolored spot here or there inside the booklets as well, though when I flipped through I didn't notice anything of particular note. The Player's Manual does have a couple of dings/small tears at the top of the front cover. The box is intact, and the cover image is pretty nice, but it does have some dings and creases, corner and edge scuffs, dings, rubbing, discoloration to the back, etc. Overall, it's an older, used game, but it's still a pretty nice old set! We'll get it packed up, and it will ship to you via USPS Priority Mail. Tracking information will be included. Please see additional info below.

However, if the item is not paid for, and you don't contact me to let me know you'll need a couple extra days to pay, it will close and the item will be resold. I'm sorry about this; I don't want to be a jerk, but we can't just hold things for a month wondering if they are ever going to get paid and shipped (which has happened). Generally if you purchase and pay for an item before 11AM, we try to get it shipped the same day. Occasionally we can ship items the same day if it is paid by about 1:00pm, but not always. We spend quite a bit to ship these items, as we make several runs to the post office per week. We also generally use quite a few packing supplies (bubble wrap/ tape, etc). Occasionally very light packages/envelopes do not meet the requirement needed to get a tracking number. If you purchase multiple items from us, and you do not want to wait for a joint invoice with combined shipping, you are welcome to pay the full shipping on each item. Your items will be, in most cases, shipped together, and once we return from the post office, I will add up the shipping you paid, and I will reimburse you the overage you paid. If you would rather wait for a combined invoice, that is, of course, perfect as well. We hope this is acceptable.
