Original, vintage General Watch Co Helvetia manual-wind wristwatch in as-found, uncleaned condition. Military style design with cal 800C movement. Manual-wind movement in very nice cosmetic condition and in running order, albeit a little sluggishly, but not recently overhauled, nor tested for run-time or accuracy of timekeeping so sold as-is with no warranty and no return. Case has usual scratches and some loss of chrome finish, particularly to lug ends. Original dial with natura...l patina and light speckling. Stamped Helvetia to dial and movement. Additionally marked General Watch Company to movement and General Watch Cy inside rear cover. Measures 30mm diameter, excluding lugs and winders.
