Vintage General Electric 9" Whiz Fan Parts. These are from the 9 inch "Whiz" fan from the 1920s. Brass 9 inch blades, cage, badge, cast iron base, brass oilers with new wicks, and stamped steel rear motor housing with brass GE medallion. This particular Whiz was designed to be so cheap/affordable that it didn't even include an on/off switch. When you wanted the fan on, you simply plugged it in. I'm trying to thin out all my excess parts. On a scale of 1 to 10, (10 being best) the ...straightness and distortions of the cage rate a 7. The blades rate an 8.
