This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. This car has all it's original bright and shiny silver paint which is extremely hard to find. The lettering and feather are also nice and crisp. This is obviously a shelf queen ready for display. The door guide rivets have one or two specks of surface rust as do the wheel flanges. The original box is included with all it's flaps; however there is some blue staining at one end. Also included is the original instruction sheet an...d factory inspection slip. When activated by a UCS track section, the door opens and the figure pops into the opening. The 3474 was the last of the 9 1/4" boxcars made during the Postwar Era. It is particularly hard to find with an intact decal and bright paint. This car features die-cast metal trucks, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.
