A VINTAGE MAY ROBERTS & Co, LONDON, GIRL LEANING ON A WALL PICTORIAL CHERRY TOOTH PASTE POTLID + BASE POT from the early c1900s period that has been found buried in a Victorian / Edwardian rubbish tip a few years ago. The highly detailed strongly printed black transferred pot lid measures just over 6.5cm in diameter across the face edge by just over 3.5cm high when on the base pot, the lid is in GOOD FAIR CONDITION being clean with no cracks or hairlines. There&...nbsp;is a shallow chip or flake on the flange edge at 6 o clock but apart from that it is very good. The base pot which is not the original although the lid fits perfectly has a bruise to the inner flange edge with a bruise/hairline to the base edge as pictured. The flake on the lid flange does not go into the transfer too much so could be an easy restoration for a competent person.
