Offered in this sale is an antique Victorian American sterling silver serving fork that was made by Reed & Barton. It is clearly marked on the back of the handle which you can see illustrated in the second image. It is not engraved. It measures roughly 9" long x 2 1/2" wide at its widest. It weighs 2.8 ounces o...n a postal scale. I believe the value of the piece is greater that the "melt:" value alone. This is just one piece from a group of more than 50 pieces of early sterling silver flatware that I will be posting for sale in group lots and individually over the next couples of weeks. They come from a single collector who had assembled them over time. The condition of this particular piece is excellent with no damage.
