This daguerreotype features a woman wearing a bonnet with blue tinted flowers and ribbons. Her shawl was tinted red as well as the same deep blue from her bonnet. She wore a plaid dress and a large brooch. She held what appears to be a coin purse. The image was taken by Joseph Weekes in Norwich, Connecticut.
The 1/6 plate was resealedwith new glass by a previous owner and the case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches.
