COLLECTION OF 178 ANTIQUE TINTYPE PHOTOS.
PLEASE NOTE. These will not come in sleeves of any kind.
These are mostly what’s considered CDV sized, which is approximately 4 x 2 1/2 inches (a little larger than a business card). Some will be slightly smaller, some slightly larger.
I’ve put these into three groups:
1) 85 without paper sleeves. These are in good to very good condition, with a few in excellent condition. There are about equal numbers of good ...and very good. Very good generally have no scrapes at all and no bends, or just light bends. Good have bends, and perhaps some light scuffing and surface wear.
2) 25 without paper sleeves. These are in fair or poor condition.
3) 68 housed in original paper sleeves. While the tintypes in this category are generally in good to very good condition, some of the sleeves are soiled or worn. Also, there are some gemtypes (smaller tintypes) in this group.
