Up for auction with No Reserve is a VERY LARGE MCM AMERICAN SILVER PLATE COCKTAIL SHAKER MARTINI PITCHER. The Cocktail Shaker is a very fine quality Silver Plate example, not the cheaper Chrome versions you normally see. The Shaker is also one of the largest I have seen.
Condition : good condition for age with some wear to base metal and one shallow dent to side which I am sure could be smoothed out. If only this Shaker could tell the stories of the parties it has seen !
Size : The Shaker is a nice large size for modern use or display on a home bar, measuring 12-1/2 inches tall by 7-1/4 inches long across the handle or 4-1/2 inches wide across the base and will hold 1700ml or 58 U.S Fluid Ounces, enough for quite a party !
