In the background is a U.S. Bureau of Mines rail car No. 6 with rescue equipment visible in the windows. Some of the breathing apparatus appears to read, "M. S. Co" which probably stands for "Mine Safety Company" which was the precursor of the "Mine Safety Appliance" Company which was founded in 1914 by the Deike family in Pittsburgh, PA. Photograph is by Gee's Studio of Houtzdale, PA. Photograph is mounted on paper board which is about 14" x 12".
