A desert mountainous scene with saguaros is depicted in this tinted 1930s print (not an original photograph) by J.F. Gandara, successful photographer of El Paso Texas. Saguaros can grow to be over 40 feet tall and live a pretty long time, often exceeding 150 years. They generally do not grow their first side are until around 75-100 years of age, so the one in the foreground is probably well over 100 I would think. The bottom left of the print is signed copyright "Jos F. Gandara".
...r>The image is in very good clean vintage condition. The excellent period frame has a golden bronze finish and has has very Minor age wear, rub marks, loss of finish, etc. . The back is fitted with eyelet screws and hanging wire.
