Genuine conditionSuperb set of Sterling silver tongs engraved in a free flowing Art Nouveau design, assayed in London in 1899, toward the end of the Art Nouveau period, however the design on these is very inspired by the movement. The sugar tongs are in excellent condition, considering their age, and the cartouche is empty. The hallmarks are clear and legible, from a well respected silversmiths.
